This is the third full summer season for this market, which grows in size and diversity each year. This summer, 16-20 vendors will be at each market, including Gills Farms (traditional veggies & seedlings & flowers), Wrights Farms (traditional apples, cider, potted plants, seedlings, pickles & jams), Maynard Farms (organic apples, pears & cider), Muddy Farm (organic eggs, salad greens, root veggies & fruit leather), Rykowski Livestock (pastured beef, pork & chicken), Bradley Farm (organic greens, berries, root veggies & tomatoes), The Big Cheese, Panzerella Foods (Italian breads & cheeses & crab cakes), Rock And Roll Artisan Bakery (whole-grain breads, rolls & cookies), Earth and Hand Creations (organic herbal soaps, lotions & dried herbs), Jody's Breads (cookies, muffins, quick breads, cakes, cupcakes), Adair Winery (local wines), Grist Mill Maple (local maple syrup), Studio 55 (hand-woven market baskets from Ghana), The Pampered Chef (fine cooking tools, micro-roasted coffee beans, ice cream toppings & more), Pika's Farm Table (all-natural quiches, tarts, soups & gratins from Hudson Valley produce), Scotch Hands Butter Co. Easy to find (right off of Route 32 by the Rosendale Pool), there's plenty of parking AND there's a playground, tennis courts and a baseball field for public use.
The market continues inside on first Sundays from December through May, from 10AM - 2 PM. The winter markets include live acoustic music and free coffee, tea and hot cocoa. There will be several special events held on some market days, including a pancake breakfast fundraiser tentatively set for December 6th, from 8 AM - Noon.
